Being able to accept credit cards on your site is critical in running a successful online business. The big question now is how do you start looking for credit card processing merchants to begin accepting credit card payments.

Researching through the web, Wareprise.com found this suitable and reliable credit card processing comparison tool. This site allows you to compare credit card processing plans. A review on PMC Telecom’s BT Phones eStore

Monday 14 May 2007 @ 2:31 pm

Recently, PMC Telecom just redesigned and redeveloped their online eStore. One of their main products is the BT Phone category. Wareprise.com is taking this opportunity to provide some thoughts about the new site’s user friendliness. To get straight to the point, I’ll be stating the pros, cons and some possible suggestions for the site.

Pros

  • Product search capability is fast and accurate
  • Product images are clear and consistent
  • The site provides a trustworthy impression
  • The price match promise service is excellent as I can be assured that PMC Telecom offers the best price in town.

Cons

  • Few product reviews available to help buyers make better decisions.
  • Ability to sort BT products based on categories. For example, I need to be able to sort only BT phones and not include other accessories like microfilters and bells.

Suggestions

  • Provide incentive for buyers to write reviews for the products they purchased to encourage more reviews.
  • On the detail page of product, the button for ‘Add to Cart’ should be different from ‘Write a Review’ and ‘Tell a Friend’ for users to easily distinguish the differences.
  • Place the Price Match Promise image at a more noticable area, maybe above the product navigation. Another place would be just right below the 14 Day Money Back Guarantee image. These are all good stuffs thus should be highlighted and made more obvious.
  • Probably to include some case studies on how some organizations are utilizing these products to help save cost or even to ensure effective communication. This helps someone who is just browsing the site for fun to realize potential benefits and value these products could provide.

If you have any additional comments about the eStore, feel free to write in the comment box below. Thanks.
