Open source POS / Retail Management system which supports Touch Screen


Are you planning to start your own of a restaurant business, grocery store or a book shop? If you are, then you must be looking for a Point of Sales (POS) system to help manage store bills and purchases. With so many different types of POS system out there in the market today, it’s definately not easy to choose one. For sure a POS system has to be reliable and accurate as we are dealing with money management, order and inventory tracking.

Openbravo POS is a system rich in features and is capable of challenging other POS systems for the retail industry. Since it is open source you can be assured of its quality. Even if the features does not suit your environment, you can always customize it or hire someone to do it for you since the software is open source.       Вышла OpenBravo POS версии 2.20 изменений достаточно много. Но главное теперь можно скачать и локализацию на русском языке.

      what gateway or credit card processor is this software certified with.

      global payments, auth.net, tsys,vital, etc.

      The software is certified with authorize.net, SecPay, Cyberauthorize and la caixa gateways and credit card processors

      I installed it on windows XP, it went fine but when trying to run it an error pops up that “windows cannot find windows javaw. Make sure you tyoed the name correctly then try again. Whats the problem
