The work order module is integrated with the Planned Maintenance module in order to integrate scheduled preventive maintenance work with ad-hoc breakdown work. Work orders can also be raised for non-asset activities, such as changing a light bulb, repairing a leaking roof or plumbing problems. The module enables the capture of all material and labour costs and labour utilization.

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
The Preventive Maintenance (PM) Module enables PM tasks to be scheduled for a particular asset or physical location based on a fixed time interval. Preventive maintenance work orders for assets which meets the defined PM time interval are automatically generated by the system upon user instructions.

REPORTS
The reporting module provides the capability to view various information stored in within CWorks. The good thing is you can easily view all work order details and their status at a single glance through the auto generated reports. The various types of reports which can be generated are:

Some CWorks Facts and Comments

• This free software is a windows application. If this free version could be made web based on the LAMP environment, it would be great as more than one person can manage the records at one time.
• During installation, ensure to install the Microsoft Access Runtime Application first before installing CWorks. Otherwise, during startup of CWorks, an error might pop up. The installer should check for the existance of the Access Runtime. If not available, just automatically install the runtime for the user.
