The other day a buddy of mine came over and asked if there is a free web based invoicing software he could use for his electronics store. The reason why he needs it to be web based is because he's always on the run servicing clients. De reden waarom hij het nodig heeft om zijn web-gebaseerd is, want hij is altijd op de vlucht klantenserviceovereenkomsten klanten. Being able to generate and manage his invoices online is a good way to keep all his invoices at a central location. Te kunnen genereren en te beheren zijn facturen online is een goede manier om al zijn facturen op een centrale locatie. No longer does he need to worry about backing up his pc in case of a hard disk crash, theft, etc. Doet hij niet langer zorgen te maken over een back-up van zijn pc in het geval van een harddisk crash, diefstal, enz.

In order to use it, the application has to be set up in a web environment (Apache, PHP, MySQL). Om deze te gebruiken, moet de aanvraag worden opgericht in een webomgeving (Apache, PHP, MySQL).

Before setting up the application, I gave BambooINVOICE a try myself and found it quite good and comprehensive enough to get the job done. My sister who just started her very own music school told me that she found the list of accounting software quite interesting as she was trying to manage her accounts for the music school. However, she mentioned that allthough both the accounting software are award winners, there is still a price tag to it which she cannot afford for now. Echter, zij vermeld dat Hoewel zowel de boekhoudkundige software prijswinnaars, is er nog een prijskaartje aan waarin ze zich niet kunnen veroorloven voor nu. At the moment she is using just the windows notepad to keep track of all her sales and expenses. Op dit moment is ze alleen met behulp van de Windows Kladblok te houden van al haar omzet en kosten. Then I asked her, don't you have Excel? Toen ik haar vroeg, niet u Excel? And she said nope ! En ze zei nee!

She then asked if there is a better and easier way for her to manage her accounts in a more organized way and most importantly be able to auto calculate various figures which notepad can't do. Zij vraagt vervolgens of er een betere en eenvoudigere manier voor haar om haar rekeningen in een meer georganiseerde manier en vooral in staat om automatisch berekenen verschillende cijfers die kladblok niet kan doen. Initially i thought of telling her to download Aanvankelijk dacht ik van haar te vertellen om te downloaden OpenOffice OpenOffice which has Calc similar to Excel. die Calc vergelijkbaar met Excel. But then I thought, maybe there is an accounting package out there which is free and easy for her to use. Maar toen dacht ik, misschien is er een boekhoudpakket daar, die is gratis en gemakkelijk voor haar om te gebruiken.
